"They looked like they had a ton of options it took us a while to order and we had a lot of questions. Julia was our server and she explained everything we asked, exceptional! Ended up going with the chicken pad Thai, it was great."

"Rai Lay Ballantyne Bang bang shrimp, crispy calamari, beef pad Thai and coconut chicken soup. The seafood is definitely fresh. I wished that the bang bang shrimp had been a little more crispy, but it was a good flavor. The calamari would’ve been so much better if the breading had been lighter and they had not used so much salt and pepper on one portion of the dish. The calamari rings were large, thick, good texture. Pad Thai was excellent, I really enjoyed the soup. If they could crisp up the shrimp and calamari and go a little lighter on the breading, easy on the pepper - they’d have a winning combination with that dish. I would definitely go back and try something else. Service was very good, price fair for portions."

"Oh my gosh, what excellent Asian food! I love their Sweet 18 sushi and Spicy Eggplant with chicken. They have such a variety of sushi to choose from. Also the stir-fried was not greasy at all. You can sure count on me to return!"

"I highly recommend this restaurant. My sushi was the best I’ve had recently and our server was awesome. I have to mention that there was probably 10 minutes between the first of 6 entrees, and the last to be brought to the table. We didn’t mind as there was no rush."

"Welcoming atmosphere, friendly service and well air-conditioned! Bar looks really cool but we sat at a table. Lychee martini was tasty but overall sweet (looking at the whole martini menu, they all look pretty sweet), but the lychee and sake flavors come through. Bang Bang shrimp was a cute and delicious appetizer, but finishes sweet, wish there was more spice. All of the specialty sushi rolls sounded amazing and the server recommended a few of them as the favorites so I picked the Out of Control roll. Overall, very happy with it. The lightly torched fish on top brings a charred flavor that sets it off. having the asparagus in the roll with the fish is the perfect textural contrast. I wish it had a bit more spice, but of course wasabi helps. Partner got sesame chicken and was happy with it, flavor was solid but not a standout."

"We dined for the 2nd time and again the food was awesome and service was amazing! I believe Ray Lay is highly underrated for the quality and taste of the food!5/5 We were there to have Birthday dinner for my husband. We sat outside and the ambience was very pleasant. The server was very busy and that’s when the young girl Selina ( greeter) got into action and took good care of us from start to finish. She was amazing and did everything with a smile. Food was awesome too. All in all , great experience!!"
